The Computing Department has arranged for an external charity to visit our academy to present to the students and give them tips to keeping safe online. The Christoforos Charity Foundation (CCF) is all about promoting, inspiring and encouraging children and young adults to engage in fun activities outside of social media and the internet, and to start making real connections again; and by doing so, encouraging them to step away from the sometimes, harmful hook that social media and unsafe internet sites have on our children today. Here are some tips which have been shared with our students.
Students studying GCSE Computer Science have been given the opportunity to visit Bletchley Park in Milton Keynes. Throughout history, people have used cryptography to keep data at a secret. Bletchley Park was once the top-secret home of the World War Two Codebreakers!
