Exceptional Education at the Heart of the Community

Head of Sixth Form and Principal's Welcome

Welcome to the Oasis Academy Enfield Sixth Form

Mr Martin Young
Assistant Principal
Head of Key Stage 5 Provision

Here at Oasis Enfield Sixth Form we are committed to ensuring you have all the support, guidance and outstanding teaching you need to help you become the very best you can be.  We believe all students are entitled to an education that equips them to be happy, successful and responsible citizens of the future. At Sixth Form our intent remains to empower every student to live the Enfield Way, to develop that LEARN ethos: To Lead, Excel, Aspire, to demonstrate Resilience and to seek to Nurture others so that we can take pride in our community and aspire to achieve outstanding results.

Here at Oasis Enfield we pride ourselves on our pastoral care, careers advice and guidance and our Academic results. Whatever your starting point, students here achieve and over 80% of our students go on to study at Russell Group or Top Third universities including Oxford, Queen Mary, Cardiff and Bristol universities. OAE students  go on to study a wide range of courses such and English Literature, History, Medicine, Accounting and Finance and Biomedical Sciences. We have also had many students gain places on highly competitive programmes such as In2MED, Sutton Trust Summer schools and industry placements with the Insight Programme and the Futures Academy which saw students secure work experience in the city with companies such as Aviva and Lloyds.

This is of course no accident-it is down to the hard work put in by the students themselves , guided by dedicated teachers who deliver high quality lessons which stretch and challenge our students, while encouraging curiosity and a desire to explore and question the world around them. We believe these are key skills and our Student Voice and Student Leadership programme provides a wide range of opportunities for students to take on leadership roles through a variety of inspirational, challenging and valued projects which impact positively on learning, teaching and well-being for both students and staff at Oasis Academy Enfield. Students are also supported by an extensive enrichment and pastoral programme that provides them with the knowledge and encourages aspiration to aim for the very top.

I believe that when you choose to study here at Oasis Academy Enfield you will be taking a huge step in your academic and personal journey and whilst in our care it is our aim to nurture you into a resilient and independent young person who is ready to take their place in society, to grow and succeed in whatever your put your mind to.

Our community is something we are immensely proud of; we are an inclusive school and we get great results - whatever you study, whatever your starting point. We look forward to welcoming you into it.
