Future Leaders
At Oasis Academy Enfield we feel we provide the right balance of a structured supervised learning environment with an acknowledgement that all students have reached an age where they need to be given greater responsibility to plan and manage their studies. Considerable scope is allowed for students to contribute ideas towards the running, organisation and development of the Sixth Form. The Sixth Form are also represented by our Head Students who participate and lead student voice across the school and help in promoting what is great about our school.
Sixth Form students therefore play a unique and valuable role in the school and all students are encouraged to get involved in a whole range of school activities that develop a sense of community and social responsibility as well as developing personal skills which help them prepare for Higher Education and the workplace. As part of our ‘Lead & Nurture’ programme our students can be seen around the school supporting in class, helping run the library, supporting students with their reading and acting as mentors to our younger pupils as well as helping to run and organise school wide events.
We also believe it is important that our students have a responsibility to support the wider community and we work with a broad spectrum of companies and charities within the Greater London area.
