The wait is finally over for our Year 11 students, who returned to school today to receive their GCSE results – and it was a morning of celebration, smiles, and new beginnings.
This year, students have not only achieved excellent grades but have also shown resilience, determination, and a commitment to their futures. These achievements reflect the way Oasis Academy Enfield supports every part of a young person’s development, not just helping them succeed academically, but also building their confidence, character, and life skills.
Students at the academy are offered a wide range of opportunities both in and out of the classroom, and they’re surrounded by staff who know them, believe in them, and work with them to overcome challenges.
The academy has seen an increase in the number of students achieving a 4+ grade in both English and maths. There have also been substantial increases in both top grades and overall pass rates, demonstrating continued academic progress across the curriculum at Oasis Academy Enfield.
Among the key highlights:
- A 4% increase in the number of Grade 7 and above awarded overall
- A 16% increase in the number of Grade 5 and above awarded overall
- A 26% increase in the number of Grade 4 and above awarded overall
Students achieved stronger outcomes in core subjects, with improved pass rates in Mathematics at both Grade 4+ and Grade 5+, while English Literature saw higher success rates at Grades 4+, 5+ and 7+.
The academy also recorded improved performance in several additional subjects, including Computer Science, Product Design and Spanish. Particularly notable was the success in Turkish, where students achieved 69% more Grade 7+ awards than the previous year. Strong gains were also seen across key curriculum areas, including:
- 30% more Grade 4+ awards in Humanities
- 18% more Grade 4+ awards in English Language

Vocational qualifications also continued to thrive, with an increase in the number of Distinction and Distinction grades awarded in Level 2 BTEC courses*.
Demonstrating the strength and diversity of the academy's language provision, students successfully achieved GCSE passes in nine different Modern Foreign Languages.
Among the high achievers was Blessing, who secured, 2x grade 6’s, 5 x grade 7’s and a standout grade 9 in Art and will be going on to study A-Levels.
Layla also performed brilliantly, earning 5 x grade 9’s and 4 x grade 8’s, and will now be pursuing their dream of studying a STEM subject.
Adding to the excitement of the day, local MP for Enfield North, Feryal Clark, visited the academy to congratulate students on their results and discuss their plans for the future. Oasis Academy Enfield also welcomed Sky News, which broadcast live from the academy throughout the morning, showcasing students' achievements and sharing their inspiring success stories with a national audience.
Emma Robinson, Principal at Oasis Academy Enfield, said: "We are incredibly proud of our students and everything they have achieved. These results reflect not only strong academic progress but also the determination, ambition and resilience shown by our young people throughout their studies.
The improvements across so many subjects, alongside the growth in top grades and pass rates, are a testament to the commitment of our staff, the support of families and, most importantly, the hard work of our students. We look forward to seeing them build on these successes as they move on to the next stage of their education and future careers."
As students collect their results and prepare for the next chapter of their educational journeys, the Oasis Enfield community joins together in celebrating a year of outstanding achievement and continued progress.
