Just before the end of the summer term, Oasis Academy Enfield celebrated an outstanding sporting achievement as student Nicodene was crowned London Youth Games 200m Champion!

The success follows an exceptional year for Nicodene, who previously won both the 100m and 200m titles at the Enfield Athletics Championships. In recognition of those achievements, he was selected to represent Team Enfield in the 200m at the prestigious London Youth Games.

Competing against some of the capital's most talented young athletes, Nicodene delivered an impressive performance to take home the gold medal, becoming London Youth Games 200m Champion.

His achievement is a testament to his hard work, dedication and determination, and reflects the commitment he has shown both in training and competition throughout the year.

Everyone at Oasis Academy Enfield is incredibly proud of Nicodene's success and the way he represented both the academy and the borough on such a significant stage.
