Our Year 10 and Year 11 Art students went on a trip to @Tate Britain Art Gallery to gain some inspiration for their GCSE Art course. Our students thoroughly enjoyed all the artworks on display and we hope to visit again soon!
The mystery shopper thought that all the rooms looked amazing and demonstrated a great number of students work, lovely displays, examples of modules and lesson plans and of course a wide range activities for our visitors to participate in such as biscuit decorating, painting, number games, fingerprinting, spin the spinning top etc. Each department was well presented and was talking to our perspective students/ parents about what we offer as a academy and how proud we are that we are part of it.

Right now, our Year 7s are diving into the concept of community and why it’s so important. 🌍 They're discovering ways to get involved and make a difference, building the confidence to challenge issues and support those around them.
Our Year 7 students had an amazing time at the Origami Enrichment Club! 🎨✨ They explored the complex art of paper folding, learning patience and creativity along the way. We love seeing our students discover new skills and passions during enrichment!
