Results 2024

We are delighted with the progress our students make. The amazing teaching and support staff work tirelessly to give students the best opportunity to do well in their exams and they have responded superbly.

KS4Overall, we made significant improvements across the board in our GCSE results this year when looking at our overall Progress 8 score. Since 2023, we have improved by 0.32 of a grade. We saw 5-9 grades in Maths and English combined rise by 6%. Our English progress score hit 0 with our Maths progress score improving by nearly -0.3 which is nearly half a grade improvement. There were significant improvements in many other subjects’ 4-9 grade %, with the highlights being Chemistry, History, Geography and Spanish. Ebacc was a particular highlight this year, with the progress 8 score moving from -0.12 in 2023 to +0.14. 

KS5

For A Level (both academic and vocational), we saw an increase on previous years in our top grades achieved by our students, with 50% of our students achieving A*-B (or equivalent). Math A Level was a particular stand out subject, with 70% of the class achieved A*-A and 100% pass rate of A*-C.

Tilbe was the highest achieving student, gaining an A* in Art and As in Mathematics and Criminology. We saw a significant increase of students successful in achieving the grades required to attend their first or second choice university, many of those including Russell Group universities
