Results 2023

We are delighted with the progress our students make. The amazing teaching and support staff work tirelessly to give students the best opportunity to do well in their exams and they have responded superbly.

KS4With GCSEs, we saw 4-9 grades in Maths and English combined rise from 35% to 48%. Individually, English rose from 49% to 67% and Maths from 45% to 53% grade 4-9. There were significant improvements in almost every other subject, with the highlights being Triple Science (Biology 100%, Chemistry 91%, Physics 96%), Turkish 95%, Art and Design 77.5%, Performing Arts 93%, RE 59% grade 4-9 and French 59% grade 4 - 9.

Our progress 8 score was -0.3 compared with 0.22 at local authority and -0.03 at national level.

KS5For A Level, A*-C grades rose from 27% to 70%, and A*-E from 67% to 85%. There was also a rise in vocational qualifications with Distinction*- Merit grades rising from 14% to 62% and Distinction*-Pass from 43% to 92%.

Hazal was the highest achieving student, gaining an A* in Biology, and A’s in Chemistry and Mathematics. She has begun studying Medicine at Oxford University. She is our first successful University of Oxford applicant since the Academy opened in 2007.
